You might be familiar with my previous post about a bad manicure I had at Bliss. Well within days of posting the story, I received a personal apology from Bliss along with a gift certificate to come back and try them again.
I have to admit, I was a bit shocked; most companies still haven’t figured out how to monitor conversations about their brands online, let alone getting service recovery right. Bliss does both and as a result they will continue to earn my business.
About My Treatments
The first treatment I received today was the Half Back Waxing. I’m by no means a hairy beast, but I do have a light layer of back hair that I want removed, and Bliss uses a proprietary blend of wax that makes the treatment a little more tolerable (though don’t be fooled, waxing in general, no matter where you get it, hurts).
Next, I had the Oxygen Blast Facial. It’s a pick-me-up that’s great pre-date, post-flight, or mid-life. I’ve been working up to 70 hours a week the past few months, so this definitely helped to revitalize my skin instantly. Plus, the application of the oxygen treatment near the end of the session will just melt all your tension while giving you that extra boost.
The Bliss Basic Pedicure was fabulous and my feet looking amazing. For you guys out their who wear sandals a lot, you definitely need a pedicure at least every 6 weeks. Nothing is more attractive than crusty feet and bad toenails. I also want to add that the Bliss Basic Pedicure is as equally good as the pedicures offered at The Grooming Lounge.
During my visit, I also purchased the Bliss Thermal Shave Cream, a self-heating cream designed to re-create the feeling of hot towels at a professional barber shop. I will be posting a review on this product soon.
Bliss also makes offers a couple other spa treatments made for men. The Homme Improvement Facial and the Manly-cure manicure. To learn more, visit Bliss.

Tried to order Bliss Thermal Shave Cream–Bliss informed me that they are no longer making this product!! They have none in stock, nor does Sephora, Neiman-Marcus, etc. Have you found it anywhere?
I’ve seen it for sale on eBay & eCRATER … good luck!
