Accoring to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, men made up about 9% of all plastic surgery procedures in the U.S., representing 1.1 million procedures.
The top 5 cosmetic surgical procedures for men in 2008 were:
- Nose reshaping
- Eyelid surgery
- Liposuction
- Breast reduction
- Hair transplantation
And, the top 5 minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures for men in 2008 were:
- Botox
- Laser hair removal
- Microdermabrasion
- Chemical peel
- Laser resurfacing
Despite the economy, male pectoral implants saw the greatest improvement over last year at a whopping 203% increase. Men want boobies too!

I opted against eyelid surgery and have been using a product called Eye Magic that gives me a more alert look. This might be worth a try for some of you who are looking into blepharoplasty.
