Top Cosmetic Procedures for Men in 2008

Accoring to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, men made up about 9% of all plastic surgery procedures in the U.S., representing 1.1 million procedures.

The top 5 cosmetic surgical procedures for men in 2008 were:

  1. Nose reshaping
  2. Eyelid surgery
  3. Liposuction
  4. Breast reduction
  5. Hair transplantation

And, the top 5 minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures for men in 2008 were:

  1. Botox
  2. Laser hair removal
  3. Microdermabrasion
  4. Chemical peel
  5. Laser resurfacing

Despite the economy, male pectoral implants saw the greatest improvement over last year at a whopping 203% increase. Men want boobies too!

    I opted against eyelid surgery and have been using a product called Eye Magic that gives me a more alert look. This might be worth a try for some of you who are looking into blepharoplasty.

    Smart nutricosmetics can do a lot for keeping the face tight and lifted. Sometimes a bit of help can be useful, like micro-needling to stimulate collagen induction. Skin is much more than just the face, collagen is all over… or lacking!
