So, I just discussed a shaving regimen for butt hair in my previous article.

Now, let’s talk about hair removal creams/depilatories, like Nair for Men.

Over the last several years, hair removal creams have become really popular with guys. You apply the cream, leave on for a few minutes, and wipe away the hair.

However, hair removal creams are not recommended for use on peri-anal or pubic areas–areas around your anus, testicals, penis, etc.

Why? Because the skin is more delicate and hair removal cream can burn and blister these areas.

There are plenty of men who use Nair on their butt and other pubic areas, but this is not recommended, especially given that there are so many other viable options.

However, if you choose to be adventurous here are some tips…

Hair Removal Cream

What You’ll Need

  1. Hair Removal Cream
  2. Talcum Powder

For #1, I would recommend the Nair for Men Speed Cream; it’s their mildest formula and only takes 3 minutes to work.

Pros

Slower regrowth than shaving, inexpensive, hair wipes away in minutes

Cons

Often burns, stinks, can can cause rash or even blister the skin

How to Use Hair Removal Cream

  1. Follow instructions as indicated on hair removal cream
  2. Do not leave cream on for more minutes than specified
  3. After you’ve wiped away the cream
    1. Wash the applied areas in cold water (minimize redness and irritation)
    2. Before you put on your underwear apply talcum powder to keep the area dry and smooth

In a few days,  your butt may begin to pimple with acne as the hair rewgrows.

Use a salicylic body wash to minimize the bumps. Salacylic really does work, and it’s lightening fast. However, if you burned your skin with the hair removal cream and blisters have formed, do not use salicylic wash; it will make it worse.
